According
to our travel experience, we recommend staying long enough in Tanzania,
in order to capture the true essence of the country. That is why
we specialize in 10-28 day safaris, cultural home-stays, walking
treks with Maasai guides, Kilimanjaro expeditions and vacations
to the intriguing spice island of Zanzibar. All of our guides are
traditionally raised Maasai. Not only do our guides dress in their
traditional clothing and jewelry, but they also boast a vast knowledge
of the Savannah and all that resides in it.
Four Safari Styles, One Philosophy
We have created and developed four different styles of safaris that
share a common philosophy of arriving in the country and experiencing
the real Tanzania. We want to make sure we have something for
everyone!

| Unfortunately,
due to our world’s ever changing climate and the harmful affects
of global warming, Tanzania’s environment is constantly changing.
Now is the time to see “The Snows of Kilimanjaro” before
they melt away. It is the perfect time to set your eyes upon the lake
that makes the Lake Manyara National Park so glorious. Come before
the indigenous people have all forgotten their traditions. This safari
journey is the most classic experience that we offer. It includes
a higher level of comfort for those guests who desire it and are ready
to pay a little extra for the pleasure. We use private vehicles, fully
equipped hotels and international facilities. This journey gives you
the best of Tanzanian in the most classic way possible. Hemingway’s
Journey is comfortable; yet still a traditional safari adventure like
one Hemingway would enjoy. |

| Are you
someone who has no fear of the unknown? Do you strive to take yourself
outside of your comfort level? If the answer is yes, then this is
the safari journey for you! As a Thrill Seeking traveler, you must
be ready to stay anywhere and travel with anything. This is for “hardcore”
travelers who like to feel, taste and see first hand what the destinations
they are traveling to have to offer. You will find adventures at every
turn. We offer mountain climbing to all of the peaks in Tanzania,
Kilimanjaro skydiving, trekking through the savannah with Maasai warriors,
swimming with dolphins, bicycling throughout the countryside and much
more. In this particular journey, lodging consists of camping and
permanent tented lodges. You will leave Tanzania feeling like you
have pushed your body and spirit to a new level, and enjoyed to the
fullest all the beauty that the country has to offer. |

| Each year,
Maasailand Explorer creates a new and unique safari destination for
prior guests of ours that have already been on safari with us and
want to try something off the beaten track and for new guests that
do not want a standard safari. This year, 2007, we have chosen Northern
Maasailand as the destination. We will be following the Wildebeest
Migration that was recently named one of the “Great Wonder’s
of the World.” |
